An adaptive kitchen and workspace renovation for an inspiring activist and longtime community organizer in North Rosedale Park. We brought together the Arts and Crafts neighborhood history, Curiosity Cabinets, a reinterpretation of William Morris patterning, and a contemporary sense of materiality. The design balances several uses into a flexible space while highlighting and presenting artifacts and views from in and around the house. And of course, we created a space for the cats!
